Our horse training long lines are made from genuine Standard BioThane®, offering an ideal combination of strength, flexibility, and effortless handling. Whether you’re focused on groundwork or enhancing responsiveness, these lines are designed to maintain peak performance, even in adverse weather conditions, without deteriorating. The BioThane® material does not absorb moisture, so they will never smell, and are easily washed to remove mud and dirt. The lines are fast drying – always ready for the next training session.

Designed for longevity, these long lines are sewn with bonded nylon thread, ensuring strength and durability with every stitch. Each stitch pattern is break-pull tested to ensure the pattern is sound, reliable, and built to withstand the demands of daily training.

Choose between premium stainless steel or solid brass hardware, both corrosion-resistant and made to endure through all weather conditions.

• Standard BioThane® Beta 520: Offers a break strength of 1,000 lbs. per inch of width (1″ strap), with a thickness of .095″ – .105″. Available in various colors and widths, it is strong, durable, and ideal for a range of pet product applications.

• Adjustable BioThane® Beta: Designed for pet collars and leads, it features a break strength of 600 lbs. per inch of width (1″ strap) and a thickness of .085″ – .095″. It’s smooth, soft, flexible, and easy to adjust, making it perfect for animal comfort.

• Super Heavy BioThane® Beta: Thicker and more flexible (thickness: .140″ – .160″), with a break strength of 1,000 lbs. per inch of width. It holds flexibility in cold weather and has a leather-like appearance, great for dog collars, equine tack, and waist belts.

• Reflective BioThane®: Combines Beta coating with a reflective stripe, making it ideal for night-time visibility. Available in 1″ and 3/4″ widths, it has a break strength of 1,000 lbs. (1″) and comes in multiple colors with a 1/2″ reflective strip.

Start with Fit!

Finding the right BïoBlü product begins with getting the right fit. A proper measurement ensures comfort, safety, and the best performance from your pet’s collar. Take a moment to measure carefully -  it’s the first and most important step toward the perfect BïoBlü match!

If your pet’s measurements fall outside of our standard sizing, don’t worry - we offer special order sizing options to make sure every pet gets a perfect fit. Just reach out, and we’ll build it just for you!

How to Measure for the Perfect Fit – if you currently do not have a collar that fits

  • Use a soft tape measure to measure around the base of your dog’s neck where the collar will naturally sit.
  • Leave enough room for one finger to slip comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck — snug but not tight!
  • If your dog’s neck measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort and adjustability.

Growing puppy? Consider choosing a collar with a little extra adjustability to accommodate growth!

BUCKLE AND SIDE-RELEASE – ADJUSTABLE TYPE

The following chart outlines the sizing and material type for our buckle and side-release collars

NOTES

  • Buckle Collars (excluding Blü-Switch) have five adjustment holes. If your pet’s neck falls at the high end of one size or the low end of the next, keep this flexibility in mind when choosing.
  • Side Release Adjustable Collars (excluding Blü-Switch) offer a 5" range of adjustment for an easy, comfortable fit. Like the buckle collars, consider the adjustment range if your pet’s measurement sits between two sizes.

BLÜ-SWITCH – FIXED AND BUCKLE TYPE COLLARS

The following chart outlines the sizing and material options for our Blü-Switch collars, available in both fixed and adjustable. Adjustable options include both Side Release and Buckle hardware.

NOTES

  • Blü-Switch Buckle Collars has three adjustment holes, allowing for 1" up or down from the selected size.
  • Blü-Switch Fixed Side Release Collars has no built-in adjustability - to change the fit, simply swap out the Swap-Strap for a larger or smaller size.

BïoBlü Personalization Features

At BïoBlü, we offer a variety of personalization options to make your pet’s gear uniquely theirs. You can add laser-engraved names, numbers, vet information, email addresses, and more directly onto the ADJ Quick Connect Buckle and/or a separate traditional pet tag for added convenience and security.
