Still missing you, buddy.
Dagwood was my goofy, lovable black Lab who brought chaos and joy in equal measure. From day one, he was all in—especially when it came to destroying my asparagus patch. I’d plant it, he’d dig it up and eat it like it was his own personal treat. Safe to say, I never harvested a single stalk.
He was obsessed with water—didn’t matter if it was a pond, puddle, or ditch. If it was wet, he was in it. And food? He was what we call an “easy keeper”—just looking at kibble seemed to add pounds.
It’s been over 15 years since Dagwood passed, but his memory still sticks with me. In fact, he’s the reason BïoBlü exists. His constantly soggy, stinky collars pushed me to find something better. That search led me to BioThane®, and the rest is history.
He may not be here to test collars, but Dagwood’s muddy paw prints are all over this journey. Thanks for everything, pal. You’re still the best dog.

RADAR – Ball Junkie with a Big Heart
Radar was just over two years old when we unexpectedly and tragically lost him – and though his time was far too short, he lived every moment with intensity, purpose, and joy. A spirited rescue Malinois, Radar came a long way from his humble beginnings to become a dog with boundless drive and a heart just as big.
He was all hustle, all heart, and absolutely unstoppable – especially if a ball was involved. His focus was razor-sharp, his work ethic unmatched. When he was working, it was as if the rest of the world faded away.
Radar had courage in spades, deep loyalty, and athletic ability that left us in awe. Whether launching through the air, sprinting full tilt, or showing off his skills, he never gave less than everything he had.
And behind all that intensity was a sharp wit and a playful soul. He loved to make us laugh with his big personality and quirky sense of humour.
From humble beginnings to an unforgettable legacy, Radar was the kind of dog who made every day better—with a tail wag, a challenge, and a heart full of love. We miss him deeply, but his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
